Liked my 3 nights stay. The room with shuttered windows on three sides. It also had climate control, a personal safe, and flat-screen TV;)))

Small hotel in a fairly nice area so close to the water front. A beautiful and warm room provided with the private toilet, the safe to be mended plus shuttered windows on three sides. A wide array of goodies for breakfast. Marvellous and excellent location, just next door to a third-rate museum, appreciated this place.
Very small bathroom.

The room I stayed in at Beytsalam in Lamu was absolutely stunning! With a sea view and a balcony, I couldn't ask for a better view for my morning coffee. The air conditioning kept me cool and the flat-screen TV was a nice touch. It felt like a little piece of paradise!
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the tile/marble floor in the room. But hey, that's just my preference.

Stayed at a place with a communal space, which was interesting. The terrace and kitchen were great for convenience. And thank goodness, there was free WiFi to help me survive.
Oh, how lovely it was to experience frequent power outages and a less-than-stellar view from the windows. Just what I needed during my vacation!
